About the Artist

British motorsports artist Martin Tomlinson may not be unique among painters. But few here, as we begin the second quarter of the 21st century, have gone back so far as to include in their oeuvre racing cars from the 1920s.

Tomlinson has painted just about everything on four (or even two) wheels. From the early 20th century to the current day. He is a man, and an artist, of all times and periods. He has witnessed, first hand every World Champion from Fangio through to Verstappen in action. Though he prefers, by admission, racing cars from the ‘50s and ‘60s and ‘70s.
